Arizona, Day Seven

Sunday:  Good to sleep in today.  Breakfast, then off to Diablo for daily newspaper.  Then I asked if Hunk wanted to go to Home Depot, since we hadn't gone there yet this week and he quickly responded with "sure."  Upon walking through the doors Hunk was met by HD personnel and he commenced talking.  I on the other hand headed for the garden department.  Saw lots of plants that I would love to take home with me and quite reasonably priced, but unfortunately they would not survive the brutal Minnesota winters.  I did however, purchase a barrel cactus in a gallon container.  How will I get that home is a good question.  We bought a box and bubble wrap and I plan on bundling it up and carry it on the plane.  It has tons of needles sticking out of the top of the cactus that I don't want broken and they're very brittle.  We've decided to call the cactus "Here Kitty, Kitty" as Homer and Sam love chewing on my plants; we will see how much they love this plant!!  There was a Jo Ann's across the street from the HD, so of course we stopped by there.  Most everything is the same in that store as other JoAnn's but did see a few things I hadn't seen before,.  Had lunch at Toby Keith's sports bar.  Enjoyed good food and a fun atmosphere.  After lunch we came "home" to a new room as Michael will be sleeping with us tonight and needed an extra bed.  We have noisy neighbors this time, so hope they don't plan on staying up all night.  They are a bunch of older baseball players who just started their tournament this week.  I'm thinking they'll have enough sense to go to bed if they have games to play tomorrow.  Spent the afternoon watching movies and picked up Michael in the late afternoon, after he dropped off his roommates at the airport.  Now we're watching the Vikings and taking it easy...looking forward to going home tomorrow.
